คำพูดของอานนท์ นำภา ทนายหนุ่มวัย 39 ปี ผู้ต่อสู้เรียกร้องความยุติธรรม สิทธิ เสรีภาพ การแสดงความคิดเห็นตามสิทธิมนุษยชนในระบอบประชาธิปไตย
วันที่ 26 กันยายน 2566 เขาถูกศาลตัดสินจำคุก 4 ปี ไม่รอลงอาญา ในคดีที่เขาขึ้นปราศรัยใน
ม็อบ 14 ตุลาคม 2563 ซึ่งเป็นผลให้ตำรวจไม่สลายการชุมนุม จึงไม่มีผู้ได้รับบาดเจ็บจากการสลายการชุมนุมเช่นหลายครั้งก่อนหน้านั้น
15 มกราคม 2567 อานนท์ นำภา ถูกจำคุกมาแล้ว 112 วัน และยังไม่มีวี่แววว่าจะได้รับสิทธิประกันตัวในชั้นอุทธรณ์ แม้มีคดีที่ยกฟ้องแล้ว 7 คดี แต่ยังเหลืออีกเกือบสิบคดี ที่อาจทำให้เขาถูกตัดสินจำคุกหลายสิบปี จากกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ในฐานะนักเคลื่อนไหวเพื่อประชาธิปไตย
วันเด็กแห่งชาติ 13 มกราคม 2567 ที่ผ่านมา จึงเป็นวันที่เขาไม่มีโอกาสได้อยู่กับภรรยา ลูกสาววัย 7 ขวบ กับลูกชายที่ยังไม่ตั้งไข่ และนี่ไม่ใช่หนแรกที่พ่ออย่างเขา ไม่มีโอกาสอยู่เคียงข้างภรรยาและลูกน้อยทั้งสอง เขาเคยถูกจองจำมาแล้วหลายหนนับร้อยวัน ทั้งที่ยังไม่ถูกตัดสินว่ามีความผิด
ในนามของความรัก ไม่ว่าเราจะมองเขาในฐานะใด ในฐานะนักต่อสู้เพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชน ผู้หวังจะเห็นคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีของเพื่อนร่วมชาติ ในฐานะลูกที่มุ่งมั่นต่อสู้กับความอยุติธรรม ในฐานะสามีที่ยอมสละเวลาชีวิตส่วนตัว ที่เขาพึงจะได้ร่วมทุกข์สุขกับคู่ชีวิตทุกคืนวัน ในฐานะพ่อที่สละแล้วซึ่งโอกาสจะได้เฝ้ามองทุกย่างก้าวของชีวิตลูกที่กำลังเติบโต ในฐานะทนายผู้ปกป้องสิทธิของผู้ถูกกระทำอย่างไม่เป็นทำในนามของระบบยุติธรรม
ในนามของความรัก เราจะทำอะไรเพื่ออานนท์ได้บ้าง เราจะเขียนถึงเขา ถึงพ่อ แม่ และคู่ชีวิตของเขาได้หรือไม่ โดยเลือกเขียนได้ทุกรูปแบบ ทั้งบทกวี แคนโต้ ไม่จำกัดความยาว ส่วนสารคดี ความเรียง เรื่องสั้น ความยาวไม่เกิน 3 หน้า A4 ขนาดตัวอักษร 16 พอยต์
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีเพื่อน ๆ ของเราอีกจำนวน 1,938 คน (20 คน อายุต่ำกว่า 18 ปี) ที่ต้องคดีทางการเมือง (18 ก.ค 2563 – 31 ธ.ค.2566 ข้อมูลจากศูนย์ทนายความเพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชน 9 มกราคม 2567) และมีกว่า 25 คน ที่ถูกจำคุกทั้งที่ยังไม่ได้ถูกตัดสินว่ามีความผิดแต่อย่างใด โดยที่สถานการณ์การดำเนินคดีการเมืองกับประชาชนยังดำเนินต่อไป

In the Name of Love
“This is a worthwhile personal sacrifice for the greater good,” said Arnon Nampa, the
39-year-old human rights lawyer and pro-democracy activist fighting for justice, human rights and freedom of expression that are norms in a proper democracy.
On September 26, 2023, he was sentenced to four years in prison for insulting royalty
during the pro-democracy protest on October 14, 2020. In that protest, the police did not have to resort to physical control of or violence against protesters such as had happened on previous occasions, and no one was injured.
On this January 15, 2024, Arnon Nampa has been detained for 112 days without any hint of being granted bail. Though seven cases against him have been dismissed, nearly 10 charges of lèse majesté remain and might result in his being sent to jail for decades for being a pro-democracy activist.
On National Children’s Day this January 13, he could not be with his wife, his seven-year-old daughter and his toddler son. This was yet another day of injustice in more than 100 that have seen him detained without being found guilty of any charges against him.
In the name of love, let’s honor him as a human rights activist who wants a better world for everyone. We should honor him as we would a son who fights injustice, as a husband who sacrifices his family life, as a father who sacrifices the opportunity to watch his children grow, as a lawyer who protects clients unjustly treated in the name of so-called justice.
What can we do in the name of love for Arnon? Can we write to him, his parents, and his wife, whether it is a poem or a song, an essay or a short story (no longer than three A4 pages using 16-point typeface)?
Aside from Anon Nampa, we should not forget the 1,930 cases (20 involve juveniles of less than 18 years) charged with political offenses (from 18 July, 2000 – 31 December, 2023, according to information provided by Lawyers for Human Rights as of 9 January, 2024). More than 25 of these detainees remain in custody without formal judgment on their cases.
