Some royalists reacted strongly to the new name of the disbanded Move Forward Party. Ultra-royalist academic Arnond Sakeorawich posted on social media announcing that the name "People's Party" does not include him and his family, "in order to prevent us from being cited in undermining principal national institutions which would lead to the overthrowing of the political system in the future."
