Lots of details still to be ironed out - including open questions on security and costs. BP not commenting on that, saying decisions will be made by “well established independent processes”. No more royal tours for H&M either as they won’t be able to formally represent The Queen.

Any commercial ventures won’t need royal approval though. We’re told none in place at the moment (although I wouldn’t be surprised if conversations are already happening on that front). Questions remain on if they‘re allowed to still use their ‘SussexRoyal’ brand. #HarryandMeghan

It’ll be a sad day for the Royal Family. The Queen made it clear this wasn’t the preferred option and wanted Harry and Meghan to stay. She praised both tonight - especially Meghan, of whom she said she was “particularly proud of how [she] has so quickly become one of the family.”
