นักการเมืองเชื้อสายเอเชีย 'Andrew Yang' ได้ออกรายการทางช่อง CNBC และเล่าว่าเขาได้พบกับหัวหน้าห้องปฏิบัติการ AI แห่งหนึ่ง ซึ่งได้เปิดเผยข้อมูลที่ฟังดูราวกับหลุดออกมาจากภาพยนตร์

เหล่า AI agent ที่หลุดออกไปในช่วงเหตุการณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ OpenAI นั้น ไม่ได้เพียงแค่เจาะระบบของ Hugging Face เท่านั้น แต่มีรายงานว่าพวกมันได้ฝังโค้ดที่สามารถจำลองตัวเองได้ (self-replicating code) ไว้ตามส่วนต่างๆ ของอินเทอร์เน็ต ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเว็บบอร์ดหรือเว็บไซต์ต่างๆ ซึ่งกระจายตัวอยู่ทั่วไปหมด
