วันนี้ศูนย์ทนายความเพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชนได้มีโอกาสต้อนรับคณะทูตานุทูตและตัวแทนองค์การระหว่างประเทศด้านสิทธิมนุษยชน ณ ที่ทำการศูนย์ทนายฯ และได้มีโอกาสพูดคุยและให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์สิทธิ โดยเฉพาะภายหลังคำวินิจฉัยศาลรัฐธรรมว่าการชุมนุมและเสนอปฏิรูปสถาบันฯเป็นการล้มล้างการปกครอง
คณะทูตานุทูตที่ให้เกียรติมาในวันนี้ ได้แก่ สถานทูตเยอรมนี สถานทูตฝรั่งเศส สถานทูตสหรัฐอเมริกา สถานทูตสวีเดน สถานทูตฟินแลนด์ สถานทูตนอร์เวย์ สถานทูตสหราชอาณาจักร สถานทูตลักเซมเบิร์ก สถานทูตออสเตรีย สถานทูตสวิสเซอร์แลนด์ รวมทั้งตัวแทนสหภาพยุโรปประจำประเทศไทย และตัวแทนจากสำนักงานข้าหลวงใหญ่ว่าด้วยสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติ
ทั้งนี้ ผู้นำเสนอข้อมูลอีกคนคือ คุณยิ่งชีพ อัชฌานนท์ ผู้จัดการ iLaw
Today, it was our pleasure to host a briefing with diplomatic community and international organizations on human rights situation after the recent Constitutional Court’s ruling and its implications on freedoms of expression and assembly in Thailand.
Thankful to the diplomats from various embassies who attended the briefing, including Germany, Canada, UK, France, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, US, a representative from the EU Delegation, and a representative from UNOHCHR.
Yingcheep Atchanont from iLaw also joined the panel and gave some updates to our distinguished guests.
