They are being targeted by the Thai regime because they are leading members of a protest movement calling for political change in Thailand including reform of the monarchy and ending military meddling in politics. 2/5

King Vajiralongkorn is furious that people have dared to call for reform, and has ordered the government and army to crack down on protesters. 3/ 5
