International Women’s Day (English below)
เพื่อตอกย้ำถึงความสำคัญของวันสตรีสากลในวันที่ 8 มีนาคม เราขอนำเสนอเรื่องราวของสุดยอดทนายความ/นักกฎหมายหญิงเพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชน เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองภาวะความเป็นผู้นำ ความเข้มแข็ง และ ความกล้าหาญ ในการพิทักษ์ความยุติธรรม 
นักกฎหมายทำหน้าที่อำนวยให้เกิดการเข้าถึงความยุติธรรมที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับสิทธิที่จะพิสูจน์ว่าไม่ได้กระทำผิดกฎหมายผ่านการต่อสู้คดีที่ยึด ‘’หลักการสันนิษฐานไว้ก่อนว่าเป็นผู้บริสุทธิ์’’ รวมถึงสิทธิที่จะได้รับการปล่อยตัวชั่วคราวที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเสรีภาพจากการถูกจับกุมคุมขังโดยพลการ
สวีเดนมีประวัติศาสตร์และจุดยืนที่เข้มแข็งในการรณรงค์เรื่องการสร้างพลังให้ผู้หญิง เราจะดำเนินงานอย่างเต็มที่และต่อเนื่องเพื่อสนับสนุนสตรีที่มีตำแหน่งผู้นำ เพื่อส่งเสริมความเท่าเทียมทางเพศและให้สิทธิของสตรีและเด็กผู้หญิงทุกคนได้รับการเคารพอย่างเต็มที่---------------------------------------------
ทนายความกุณฑิกา นุตจรัส (ทนายทราย) เป็นทนายความมาตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2558 ปัจจุบันเป็นทนายความที่สำนักงานกฎหมายและบัญชีกฤษฎางค์ นุตจรัส
ทนายทรายย้ายกลับมาจากต่างประเทศและเลือกที่จะมาทำหน้าที่ทนายความให้นักกิจกรรมทางการเมืองที่เป็นเยาวชนที่ถูกตั้งข้อหาเกี่ยวกับเสรีภาพในการแสดงออก
ทนายทรายเป็นที่รู้จักมากที่สุดในฐานะทนายความของจำเลยในคดีอาญาและเป็นผู้แทนทางฎหมายให้กับคดีการเมืองสำคัญที่ปัจจุบันอยู่ในระหว่างการพิจารณาของศาล---------------------------------------------
ทนายความศิริกาญจน์ เจริญศิริ (ทนายจูน) เป็นหนึ่งในผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งศูนย์ทนายความเพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชน ปัจจุบัน ดำรงตำแหน่งรองผู้อำนวยการและหัวหน้าฝ่ายรณรงค์ระหว่างประเทศ 
ย้อนกลับไปเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2561 ทนายจูนเป็นหนึ่งในห้าผู้แทนจากประเทศไทยที่เข้าร่วมเวทีสาธารณะว่าด้วยความเท่าเทียมทางเพศ ณ กรุงสตอกโฮล์ม (The Stockholm Gender Equality Forum) นอกจากนี้ ทนายจูนยังเป็น 1 ใน 15 นักปกป้องสิทธิมนุษยชนหญิงที่มีภาพถ่ายในนิทรรศการภาพถ่ายที่สถานทูตสวีเดนจัดแสดง ณ กรุงเทพมหานคร ในเดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2562 อีกด้วย
ศูนย์ทนายความเพื่อสิทธิมนุษยชน มีจุดเริ่มต้นมาจากการรวมตัวของกลุ่มทนายความและนักปกป้องสิทธิมนุษยชน โดยก่อตั้งขึ้นภายหลังเกิดการรัฐประหารในประเทศไทยในเดือนพฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2557 โดยให้บริการสายด่วนตลอด 24 ชั่วโมงและรวบรวมข้อมูลเพื่อสร้างความตระหนักรู้แก่สาธารณะ รวมถึงให้คำแนะนำแก่ผู้ที่ถูกหมายเรียกหรือถูกจับกุมรวมทั้งเด็กและเยาวชน อันมีเหตุมาจากการใช้เสรีภาพขั้นพื้นฐาน ทั้งนี้ จะไม่มีการคิดค่าใช้จ่ายในการให้ความช่วยเหลือทางกฎหมายและการทำคดี เพื่อประกันการเข้าถึงความยุติธรรมและเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับหลักนิติธรรมในประเทศไทย------------------------------------------

ก่อนหน้าที่จะมาร่วมงานกับคณะกรรมการนิติศาสตร์สากล คุณเก๋เคยทำงานประเด็นมนุษยธรรมในจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ของไทย
คณะกรรมการนักนิติศาสตร์สากล ทำงานส่งเสริมและคุ้มครองสิทธิมนุษยชนตามหลักนิติธรรม โดยใช้ความเชี่ยวชาญพิเศษด้านกฎหมายเพื่อพัฒนาและสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับระบบยุติธรรมทั้งระดับชาติและระดับสากล นอกจากนี้ ยังทำงานด้วยจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อให้กฎหมายสิทธิมนุษยชนและกฎหมายมนุษยธรรมระหว่างประเทศพัฒนาก้าวหน้าขึ้นและถูกนำไปใช้อย่างเกิดประสิทธิผล ให้ความมั่นคงต่อสิทธิพลเมือง สิทธิทางวัฒนธรรม เศรษฐกิจ การเมืองและสังคม คุ้มครองหลักการแบ่งแยกอำนาจ ตลอดจนสร้างหลักประกันความเป็นอิสระของตุลาการและผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพด้านกฎหมาย#วันสตรีสากล

To highlight International Women’s Day on 8 March, we feature extraordinary Thai female human rights lawyers to celebrate their leadership, strength, and courage in pursuing justice. The role of lawyers is to facilitate access to justice involving the right to challenge the lawfulness by upholding the presumption of innocence and the right to provisional release as part of freedom from arbitrary arrest and detention. Sweden has a strong history and position in advocating for women empowerment. We will continue to wholeheartedly support women in leading positions for gender equality and the full enjoyment of human rights by all women and girls.---------------------------------------------
Attorney Kunthika Nutcharut (Sai) has been an attorney since 2015. She is now working at be Krisadang Nutcharut Law and Accounting. She moved back from abroad and chose to become a lawyer to help young Thai political activists charged with cases related to freedom of expression. Sai is best known for her role as a criminal defense attorney, and represents many emblematic political cases currently pending in Thailand’s courts.---------------------------------------------
Attorney Sirikan Charoensiri (June) is one of the co-founders of the Thai Lawyers for Human Rights , currently serving as Deputy Director and International Advocacy Lead. June was one of five gender equality champions from Thailand joining the Stockholm Gender Equality Forum in 2018. She was also one of 15 women human rights defenders portrayed in our photo exhibition in December 2019 in Bangkok. Thai Lawyers for Human Rights is a coalition of human rights lawyers and defenders, formed immediately following the May 2014 coup d'état in Thailand. The organization runs a 24-hour hotline and uses the information gathered to disseminate public awareness and advice for those summoned or arrested as a result of exercising their fundamental freedoms, including youth and children. Legal assistance and litigation are provided for free to ensure access to justice and strengthen the rule of law in Thailand.---------------------------------------------
Legal Adviser Sanhawan Srisod (Kay) works for the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) ICJ Asia Pacific Programme. Before joining the ICJ, she worked on humanitarian issues in Thailand’s deep south. The ICJ promotes and protects human rights through the Rule of Law, by using its unique legal expertise to develop and strengthen national and international justice systems. Further, the ICJ aims to ensure the progressive development and effective implementation of international human rights and international humanitarian law; secure the realization of civil, cultural, economic, political and social rights; safeguard the separation of powers; and guarantee the independence of the judiciary and legal profession.#InternationalWomensDay
