Should the Isaan Record do an anonymous survey on readers' attitudes about the monarchy?

Foreign Ministry spokesman Tanee Sangrat recently said “Thailand's lese majeste law is not aimed at curbing people's rights to the freedom of expression nor the exercise of academic freedom or debate about the monarchy as an institution.”
If that’s true, then there should be no problem doing public opinion polls on the issue!
But before we do, please take this anonymous survey (we will not collect your emails or names) about whether we should take such a survey or not.
In the photo, you can see that the general public in many countries has been asked about this important public institution.
It is typical practice of news organizations around the world to do opinion polls of their readers. It is also common for news organizations in constitutional monarchies to take polls on to what degree their monarch is doing a good job, what changes they would like to see, and even who their favorite member of the royal family is.
You can see in the photo a sampling of those surveys and the results.
