Government house released a photo of prayut and President Macron shaking hands, as used by Bangkok Post this morning. Giving the appearance of cordiality. A shot around which the Thai government managed to concoct a story.
Getty Images however caught a moment that would not allow Thai government lies let alone claims of success. A very uncomfortable looking prayut and his inept foreign minister who looks like he had just farted and is worried that President Macron will soon be surrounded by stink rather than just pointing at it.

"The Great International Lie".
Since late 2014 prayut and his coconspirators have stuck hard and fast to the narrative, "the world understands", "they believe us now" and a litany of other lies in keeping with known fascist technique.
And although he has made many attempts to cast his web, his efforts have only resulted in reactions from wry smiles to disbelief, thinly disguised by stoic, emotionless faces.
