รัฐประหารเมื่อปี 2557 ในประเทศไทย ที่นำโดยเผด็จการคนปัจจุบันของไทยที่ชื่อ พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา ได้ทำการโค่นล้มรัฐบาลที่มาจากการเลือกตั้ง และทำการปิดการการใช้สิทธิแสดงออกซึ่งเสรีภาพและเสรีภาพในการรวมตัวของประชาชน

ภายใต้กฎของเผด็จการประยุทธ์ ทหารและตำรวจสามารถเข้ามายังบ้านเรือนของพวกเราโดยไม่ต้องมีหมาย และสามารถปิดปากผู้ที่ส่งเสียงคัดค้านเผด็จการ และครอบครัวของพวกเรา ภายใต้ความเป็นไทยจ้า มันมีการคุกคามที่รุนแรง ต่อผู้ที่แม้แต่แค่แสดงออกอย่างเบาๆ ถึงความไม่เห็นด้วยกับการปกครองของทหาร รวมทั้งการคุกคามการใช้สิทธิแรงงานของไทยในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมภาคตะันออก ที่มีการใช้ทหารและนักเลงหัวไม้มาคุกคาม คุกคามศัตรูที่ไหนหรือ ก็คุกคามคนไทยนี่ล่ะ

การช่วยทำให้เผด็จการประยุทธ์ ได้จับมือกับเอมมานูเอล มาครอน แอร์บัสก็ได้ให้การสนับสนุนการปิดกั้นประชาธิปไตยในประเทศไทย และให้ความช่วยเหลือเผด็จการประยุทธ์ ในการสร้างความชอบธรรมให้กับรัฐบาลที่ไร้ซึ่งความชอบธรรมโดยสิ้นเชิงของเขา

ผู้คนต่างก็ต้องเดินทางและก็ขอบคุณแอร์บัสที่รู้วิธีการสร้างเครื่องบินที่ปลอดภัยให้กับผู้โดยสาร

แอร์บัสไม่จำเป็นต้องสนับสนุนเผด็จการทหารของประเทศไทย แอร์บัสไม่จำเป็นจะต้องลงนามใดๆ กับเผด็จการประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา, ผู้ยึดอำนาจเข้ามา แอร์บัส สามารถลงนามตกลงการค้าได้เมื่อประชาธิปไตยได้คืนสู่ประเทศไทยแล้ว

Dear Sir,

The 2014 military coup in Thailand, led by the current Thai dictator, General Prayuth Chan-ocha, terminated our democratically elected parliament, our Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Assembly.

Under rule of Prayuth’s military junta, soldiers and police enter our homes without warning to shut the mouths of any dissenting voices and threaten our family members. Beneath the usual Thai razzle-dazzle there is violent suppression of even the mildest forms of opposition to the rule of the military junta. Alongside suppression of worker’s rights, Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard Industrial Zone is increasingly engaged in military and para-military activity. Against what enemy? The Thai people.

By making it possible for General Prayuth to shake hands with Emmanuel Macron, Airbus is supporting the suppression of democracy in Thailand and assisting General Prayuth’s attempt to legitimise his illegitimate government.

People need to travel and are thankful that Airbus knows how to make safe aircraft.

Airbus does not need to support the military dictatorship of the people of Thailand. Airbus does not need to ‘sign-up’ with General Prayuth the Imposter. Airbus can contract on condition that Thailand is returned to democracy.
