US President Donald Trump has announced a 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon, which will begin tonight at 21:00 GMT, and comes after phone calls with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Israeli military has destroyed the Qasmiyeh Bridge, the last link across the Litani River. The strike on this critical infrastructure has stranded 100,000 people, cutting off all humanitarian aid and escape routes.
