What's worrying about majority of the Thai press right now is that their hyper-nationalism has gotten so extreme that they've almost stopped scrutinizing the Thai military. Whatever the army says is the truth. They've essentially become a free mouthpiece for the armed forces, forgetting their "watchdog" slogan and confusing what their true mission to the public is.
At least in Indonesia, they the Defence Ministry has to pay for an ad on newspapers. Here it's free!
