BREAKING: Police tried to arrest American scholar Pail Chambers on Friday, April 4, 2025, in Phitsanuloke province where he is based, for alleged royal defamation. Chambers told Khaosod English’s Pravit Rojanaphruk at noon today that he is innocent and will turn himself in on Tuesday at Phitsanuloke Province Muang Police Station, where police will then explain the lese majeste charges against him.
He told Pravit: "I am in shock."
