เคยสงสัยบ้างมั้ย ทำไมสงครามมักถูกตั้งชื่อตามประเทศที่ถูกโจมตี ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสงครามเวียดนาม สงครามอิหร่าน หรือสงครามในอัฟกานิสถาน มีคนตั้งข้อสังเกตุว่า ถ้าตั้งตามชื่อฝ่ายผู้โจมตีแทน คงจะดูสับสนวุ่นวายน่าดู เพราะกว่า 80% คงจะถูกเรียกว่า "สงครามสหรัฐฯ" กันไปหมด (มีคนเสนอว่าก็ไส่ชื่อประเทศที่ถูกโจมตีเข้าไปด้วย เช่น American War in Vietnam ก็น่าจะดี)

Interesting that wars are named after the country attacked. Vietnam war, Iran war, Afghanistan war,

I guess if we named them after the attacker it would become pretty confusing.

Because 80% of the conflicts would be called the US war.

It is called the Americam War in Vietnam. They know whose war it was!
